Summer Festivals and Euro Tour Part One

We’re really looking forward to Joshua Caole’s first tour of The Netherlands and Belgium this month. He’s playing fantastic venues such as the H80 festival and the Fifteen Minutes showcase in Groningen. It also sets him up rather nicely for the UK festival season when he gets back. So far we’ve got fantastic festivals lined up; BeatReview.com Microfestival in Cardiff, Ashley Wood Arts Festival in Wiltshire, The fabulously boutique Winterwell in secret location somewhere in Gloucestershire and also Joshua was chosen to be part of the BBC introducing stage at Wychwood in Cheltenham. Summer starts here!

Last month Joshua Caole was lucky enough to record a session for the fantastic, empassioned endeavours of the Songs from the Shed Sessions (undoubtedly the most musically saturated shed in the country)

He recorded 3 tracks (All from the new Album due out Monday!) in the shed’s uniquely intimate surroundings and they sound fantastic. The were released officially on the site for all your enjoyment today. The tracks are:
Cruel
Butterfly
Pleased to Have You

Jon Earl of Songs from the Shed said of Joshua:
“I love it when someone arrives and is quiet and unassuming then they start singing and you go “where did that come from” Sheddies give a warm welcome to Joshua Caole”

And he then invited us all to try “a bit of death and cruelty from Joshua Caole”

We are really grateful to the shed for playing host and cant wait to return soon! Maybe see if we can fit some more people in it next time. It really is a very fine shed indeed! (please note naked gold mannekin in background of ‘Pleased to Have You‘ – Joshua was especially please with her!)

Happy New Year! We have some very exciting things coming up – Firstly, Joshua Caole’s debut album has been recorded and is in the process of being mastered. It will be released in April to accompany his UK tour supporting Christiaan Webb. Dates announced here

O2 Arena, 20th December 2011

We are incredibly excited to announce that Joshua Caole will be playing at the O2 arena (on the same night as Rihanna no less) on the 20th December at 8pm (free entry!) as part of their new fabulous December Sessions season. Find out more at their facebook site. This season lasts all of December and sees 100 bands take to the stage in a free month long festival.

We are very excited that Joshua Caole will be playing the 5th Annual Swn festival in Cardiff on Sunday 23rd October in 10 Feet Tall at 6:15pm (prompt!). Swn is a credit to Cardiff and the fantastic organisers Mr Rostron and Mr Stephens. The festival runs from 20-23 October and ticket and scheduling information can be found at the Swn Website.

September Tour

We are very excited to announce Joshua Caole’s September tour starts this week with shows in Swindon and at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester. We also have a very exciting hometown show in Cardiff on September 19th at Gwdihw. This will be incredible with a special support slot from Jimmy from SNFAS and Future of the Left ahead of the SNFAS Ukraine tour. We have special merch and vinyl deals on the tour too. If you want to buy the ‘Slow Heart’s EP on CD then get your orders in quick as they’re running out!

We have been having a fantastic whirlwind summer, and it’s nowhere near over yet. Joshua Caole has just announced he’s playing at the very exciting new Apple Cart Festival, The new sister festival to Field Day. It takes place on 7th August at Victoria Park, London, and tickets are a steal as under £30 for a line up that includes Badly Drawn Boy, Steve Mason, Cate Le Bon and St Etienne.

The next very exciting announcement is that Joshua is playing Swn Festival 2011. Cardiff’s very own incredible showcase festival that takes place all over the city for 4 days.
